Can anyone recommend a free no hassle anti spam program for Outlook Express? So sick of junk in my mailbox! If someone could please give me the name of a user friendly anti spam program, I would be very very happy!!

No anti spam on my outlook express? I have just renewed my norton anti virus to the 2008 edition and all my emails are going into the inbox. Nothing gets marked spam and if I right click I used to be able to choose that a message was spam but I don't have that option. Should I configure something somewhere.

is the spam button in yahoo mail of any use? or How does yahoo anti-spam work? I've been bugged by this issue for a long time. I'm very irritated with all the spam ending up in my Yahoo Inbox and i have to spend a lot of time deleting this spam. So how do i delete the spam? Select the mail and click "spam" button in the toolbar. gr8 the message is moved from my Inbox into the spam folder and ???. Nothing more, the message is just moved from one folder to another, not adding the senders domain or even the senders mail address to the spam/blocked list. Am I missing something here, isn't the spam button supposed to do something more than moving the mail to spam folder??. Then what is the functionality of the anti-spam features in yahoo mail?? The Outlook ( or any mail client i suppose) adds the senders address ( and has an option for senders domain) to be added to the blocked list. Why doesnt this happen with Yahoo spam button?? Note: All the Mail i mark as spam keep coming to my inbox again and again and again..... They might be having a different mail-id as sender, but they all have the same domain. But this is the trivial characteristic of a spam i.e. using different id's ( but they have same domain, though) and should have been handled by the spam features ( when a mail is selected a spam).

I get chronic spam despite blocking senders, anti-spam software etc. is there an easy way to set up Outlook better. i was thinking whether is should set up another inbox that could only recieve from my contacts list, but then that is still a bit limited. any good ideas?

Getting the right anti spam...can you help? Getting offensive spam (imaged text offers etc so not easily blocked) on family email. Very keen to stop all or most, effectively, without slowing Outlook too much. Have Outlook Express, use POP3, have MacAfee suite (but not anti spam and heard bad reports that not effective and about how slows outlook) and Spyware Doctor. McAfee Anti Spam question? I use Outlook Express for my e-mail, and also have a anti spam folder. When I click on my e-mail there are numerous spams. I have clicked on message and clicked block sender, but I am still getting the same spam from the ones that are suppose to be blocked. Could someone please tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it. My inbox is fine it's just the Spam.

Outlook Express - Blocking Spam? On the left top of OE it shows File,Edit,Tools,Message,Help. In the drop down menu on Message there is an item "Block Sender". I inadvertently clicked on this when I had a reply showing from my ISP Support. Now everything from my Support line gets diverted to Anti Spam on my Norton Internet Security. I am unable to reverse my stupid mistake. Can anyone out there please tell me how I can reverse this so that any Email from my Support goes straight into the INBOX as before????

Is it possible Yahoo has an anti spam program or block? I installed one from a disc but it is not working!? Purchased and installed Anti Spam Pro/ Professional Edition to block all junk mails--so far, it works neither on my outlook express or on the yahoo account. Can anyone recommend a decent Anti-Spam program? More work email address appears to have fallen into the worng hands and now I am subject to over one hundred junk mail messages a day, covering everything from Viagra to people posing as banks that I do not even bank with! Can anyone recommend a decent program to stop this crap coming in on a daily basis as it is starting to get on my nerves! Outlook does filter most of the junk into its junk folder but is there no way I can stop it altogether?

Outlook sending spam? My outlook keeps sending spam mail from my e-mail account to people, it deletes the sent items to cover its tracks and i only found out when i got some mail delivery error messages. i thought i had cured this before with the anti-virus and spyware software but it cant have worked, has anyone else experianced this and how can it be cured i have recieved mail delivery errors from things i havn't sent, have a newish pc with sp2 already installed. Zone Alarm Anti-Spam? On outlook, I used to have some kind of Zone Alarm Junk Email filter that REALLY helped out, but, unfortunatly, I restarted my computer and it dissapeared. How to prevent receiving my e-mail in Outlook Express doubled? Hi everyone, I think it started after I installed anti-spam software. I have the same e-mail doubled - one is normal, and another is "empty". It floods my mail and eventually I get "overquota" message. I am not receiving email, spam, or newsletters through Outlook Express? I have a HP Compaq, 8 mo old, installed Ella, Norton Anti Virus & Pest Patrol. I have DSL. I have not received mail since Oct 4. My ISP said everything was fine on their end. My yahoo mail and other email works fine. My internet works fine. If I send myself a message it goes in the deleted mail folder. Anyone have any answers to this?

outlook express help? When receiving mail, my Outlook Express continues to "terminate" itself. I have been receiving the same old e-mail, often in double, for a long time now. Is anyone having email problems since installing Norton Internet Security 2007? After installing, I can receive but not send emails. I get a message stating that the client program (Outlook 2003) could not connect to the SMTP server. I know my SMTP settings are correct. I have attempted to disable the anti-spam feature in the product, but that did not make a difference. I finally uninstalled Norton and the email worked fine. Any ideas?

Help! Email server gets changed every time I reboot computer? Every time I restart my computer my pop email server for my outlook express accounts gets changed to a weird IP number. I've installed and removed a few anti-spam software in the past few days and I think one of them is reconfiguring my email account every time I turn on the computer. How do I stop this from happening?

Suggestions on email program and anti-virus app combo.......? I currently use Microsoft Outlook Web Access for my email (I have a personal account setup by a friend) along with Avast v4.7 Home version I'm getting enough spam that I'm considering trying out Thunderbird. The Outlook Web Access doesn't do a good job of that. I'm also thinking about switching to AntiVir since I hear it has a higher detection rate than Avast. Thunderbird is a local program like Outlook as opposed to a web access one like Yahoo Mail. AntiVir on the otherhand, does NOT scan email from programs like Outlook, and what I can also assume Thunderbird neither. It seems like I can choose to switch one or the other but not both. I'm not completely had it with the spam. I don't get that many. Around 20 to 30 hits a day which I've kinda gotten used to deleting. On the otherhand, Avast's 80% to 90% or so detection rate doesn't seem too bad, but I hear AntiVir has a detection rate of around 90% to 95%. Which wouild u say is the best choice? I forgot to mention, one plus of using my personal email account is my workplace doesn't block it. Yahoo Mail, Gmail, and other similar email programs ARE blocked

finding blocked addresses in yahoo e-mail? How can I see all the addresses that yahoo has blocked as spam??? It says 100+ of 500 blocked addresses and I would like to see all or most of what is blocked. This spam protection is a joke, I have yahoo tool bar anti-spyware, windows defender, norton internet security, spybot S & D, Ad- Aware and I am still getting junk mail, some in the Inbox, most in the bulk folder, also a few in outlook Express but at least there I can see what it is and spam it myself. Any suggestions PLZ?? Any other free downloads I could try??? without getting on yet another list???????????????? I have done this and it tells me it is a partial list of 100 of the 500+ blocked addresses and I would like to see more addresses as some of my usual mail is missing.
